Gary was the fourth generation of Visser's born in Harare, Zimbabwe. After having to leave the country, he grew up in South Africa. During his early teens, his family immigrated to America and has lived in Orlando for the past 15 years. Gary graduated from Florida State University with an Exercise Physiology degree, during which he competed as FSU's sole decathlete and was captain of their Track team. Currently, Gary Visser is completing his clerkship rotations in Orlando for Medical School. In just over a year, he will be getting his M.D. from the Florida State College of Medicine and plans on being a family doctor.
